Head of the Department of Geology and Geography Alexander Pavlovsky took part in the republican festival "Kazakhstan - Land of the Great Steppe" held in the National Cultural Complex "Ethnoaul" in Astana. The event was aiming at the cultural exchange and business cooperation in the field of tourism, revival of national values and traditions of the Kazakh people, formation of interest and loyalty to the Turkic culture, promotion of the brand of artisans of Kazakhstan. The festival gathered artisans from different regions of the country, designers of national clothes, folk music performers, exhibits of the largest museums.
A golden thread of the event was the theme of history starting from the deep antiquity to the present day, the achievements of craftsmen of the Kazakh people and the continuity of generations interweaving the culture of antiquity to the present.
