Dmitry Litovkin is a graduate of the Faculty of physical training of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
Today Dmitry is a prize-winner of the Championships of Europe and the Republic of Belarus in powerlifting. According to his words, powerlifting is a real pleasure for him.
Dmitry began broke into powerlifting in 2007 and completed the Candidate in masters of sport standard. Having graduated from GSU in 2010, he had to leave his favorite sport, but within six years the athlete resumed training under the guidance of his coach A.G. Narskin, associate professor of the Department of sports disciplines.
Powerlifting consists of three exercises: squats with a barbell on shoulders, bench press lying and deadlift.
Dmitry took part in competitions at various levels and competed with representatives of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and other countries. Each performance resulted in enhancing the personal results of the athlete. At the Classical Powerlifting Championship of the Republic of Belarus on March 14 in Bereza, Dmitry Litovkin performed in the weight category up to 83 kg. Our athlete won a silver medal and fulfilled all the conditions for awarding the title of master of sports of the Republic of Belarus.
