The traditional beginning of the new year for students of the Faculty of Physical Training was the holding of ski training camps at the educational and scientific base of our University "Chenki", where all the necessary conditions for learning skiing and teaching methods have been created.
It should be noted that in the current academic year, the university has purchased new modern equipment, and in the future it is planned to provide the educational process with roller skis for training in snow-free time.
Skiing classes are conducted by leading specialists of the faculty: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Sports Disciplines Konjahin M.V., associate Professor BorovajaV.A., senior lecturer Prichinich A.E. and other teachers.
During the classes, the best students-skiers are selected to be included in the national team of GSU, which will take part in the Republican Universiade in cross-country skiing.
It is also important that the guys not only provide themselves with professional training, but also engage in an exciting winter sport, from which they get a lot of pleasant impressions and, hardening in the fresh air, increase their immunity, which is so necessary for all of us today!
