The defense of dissertations by master's students from the People's Republic of China, who have been studying at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University in English-language programs, continues. In 2024, several experimental projects will be implemented in collaboration with Chinese partner universities to introduce integrated educational programs in a number of specialties that are in demand in China.
Currently, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University is developing not only educational but also cultural and scientific ties with the People's Republic of China. The Confucius Institute operates at the university, along with several joint Belarusian-Chinese scientific laboratories. Gomel University is constantly working to improve its competitiveness in the global educational market, implementing a balanced strategy for the export of educational services, which has resulted in its recognition and popularity among foreign citizens. At present, more than 1,000 citizens from over 20 countries are studying at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University under various programs.
