The GSU hosted a meeting of students of the Faculty of Geology and Geography with the teacher of the year of Belarus, a graduate of our university Vadim Losev. For an hour and a half, Vadim recalled the years at the alma mater, told the students about his teaching activities, shared the secrets of success and plans for the future. The meeting began with welcoming words and congratulations from the GSU Rector Sergey Khakhomov. Sergey Anatolyevich presented the talented teacher with souvenirs and wished him further success. That was the end of the official part of the meeting, and further dialogue took place in a friendly and trusting atmosphere. Former student of the Faculty of Geology and Geography, Vadim Losev, humorously and jokingly told current students not only about his achievements, but also about the difficulties faced by young professionals and how they can be overcome. The key thought transmitted by the young man was the idea of endless self-improvement and constant work on yourself. Vadim believes that in any area of life, first of all, you need to understand what you want, and then work hard to achieve your goal.
The GSU graduate talked about how the Teacher of the Year competition was held, who helped him in preparation, what role the university played in its development as a person. The teacher was happy to answer the questions of future colleagues. He not only easily shared knowledge about pedagogical activities at school, ways to establish communication with students and their parents, but also without concealment told several facts about his personal life. The meeting ended on a positive note, the teacher of the year of Belarus charged those present with positive emotions, and also became a motivator for students.
