Nikityuk Yu.V. was the deputy chairman of the organizing committees of one international and three republican conferences held at the Faculty of Physics. He was chairman of the organizing committee and editor-in-chief of the collection of materials of the international scientific and methodological conference.
Since 1997, Yu. V. Nikityuk has been working at the NIS of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University in the positions of laboratory assistant, engineer, junior researcher and researcher.
From 1998 to 2023, Nikityuk Yu.V. participated in more than 30 scientific and technical tasks, including 5 state scientific and technical programs, 4 programs of the Foundation for Fundamental Research of the Republic of Belarus and 6 contractual topics.
He was the responsible executor of task T3 of the State Scientific and Technical program "Laser Systems" "To develop and create a technological complex for laser processing of materials and master its production" (2001 - 2004, State registration No. 2002508).
He was a scientific supervisor of scientific topics:
- contract Ф07М-084 Belarusian Republican Foundation for Basic Research «Investigation of the processes of complex laser processing of quartz products» (2007– 2009 № State registration No. 20071703);
- contract Т09М-016 Belarusian Republican Foundation for Basic Research «Development of technology for cutting brittle non-metallic materials with a directed flow of hot air» (2009–2011 № State registration No. 20091300).
Nikityuk Yu. V. is a member of the Belarusian Physical Society.
Yu.V. Nikityuk belongs to the scientific school established at Francisk Skorina Gomel University by academicians F.I. Fedorov and B.V. Bokut. His research interests are focused on the development and research of laser technologies for processing brittle non-metallic materials, laser technologies for processing metals, obtaining diamond-like coatings, and the interaction of laser radiation with matter.
He is the author of more than 270 scientific and methodological works, including a chapter in a monograph, 18 teaching and reference manuals, more than 70 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, more than 90 scientific and methodological articles in conference collections, 39 patents.
