On December 9, the International Day of Languages was held, which has been celebrated by the Russian International Academy of Tourism together with partner universities for more than 20 years.
The International Day of Languages is a celebration of creativity in foreign languages, an exciting journey through countries and continents!
Students of the Academy, as well as schoolchildren and students of invited universities, demonstrated their talents using foreign languages and knowledge about the cultural characteristics of different countries.
At the invitation of the Department of Foreign Languages and Foreign Country Studies, students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the specialty "Linguistic support of intercultural communications (international tourism") also took part in the event Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
The 1st year students for the first time in their student life presented a presentation about the life and professional path of the American poet Patricia Fleming and recited the author's poem "What life should be" in English.
All participants of the event received commemorative certificates and souvenirs from the Russian International Academy of Tourism and the British publishing house Macmillan, as well as a wonderful positive mood.
