On March 16, the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical Conference of students and undergraduates “Actual problems of theory and practice of modern Economics” took place, which has long been the hallmark of the Faculty of Economics and the University. This year, more than 90 students and undergraduates from higher educational institutions of Belarus and Russia took part in this event.
The plenary session of the conference was opened by Irina Glukhova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Research and Development, who addressed the conference participants and their supervisors with a welcoming speech. The conference was held in a mixed format (offline and online), which provided an opportunity for students and undergraduates from other universities to share the results of their scientific activities and take an active part in debates.
The reports at the plenary session were made by students of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the Belarusian State University of Transport. Topical issues of bank lending and insurance of banking services, ensuring the economic security of railway transport organizations, social security of personnel of industrial organizations and many others were discussed.
The conference participants also took part in 5 breakout sessions on the following topics:
- strategic priorities of innovative development of the national economy: theory and practice;
- current issues of economics and management of production systems and projects;
– improvement of accounting, control and analysis as tools to increase innovation activity;
– problems of development of financial and credit relations in the modern economy;
- information technology in business.
Traditionally, a collection of conference materials has been published in electronic format by the beginning of the conference.
