April 6, Gomel State University named after Francis Skaryna successfully hosted a large-scale Open Day, which brought together more than 600 high school students dreaming of a future career in the fields of pedagogy, programming, engineering, law and economics. This event was the first step for many in their acquaintance with one of the leading universities in the region.
Meetings with potential applicants were held at the university faculties, where they had the opportunity to tour laboratories, museums and other educational spaces. Schoolchildren actively asked questions regarding both the educational process and the cultural life of the university, and received comprehensive answers to them from the leadership of the faculties, teachers and students of the university.
Particular attention was paid to the discussion of entrance tests and features of the 2024 admissions campaign, including changes in admission rules and benefits for applicants.
This event provided schoolchildren with a unique opportunity to get answers to all their questions directly from university representatives.
