On 16 October, the university hosted an event dedicated to World Restart a Heart Day. Such events are held to draw attention to the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.
Instructors and volunteers from the Belarusian Red Cross conducted a training flash mob for staff and students. Participants learned about the importance of providing timely first aid in the event of cardiac arrest and were able to practise cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques on special mannequins.
Such events help to increase preparedness for emergencies and foster a culture of mutual assistance.
