On September 30th, a Leisure Center at the Confucius Institute was ceremoniously inaugurated in the hall on the third floor of the fifth building of the university. The Rector of the university, Sergey Khakhomov, along with the directors of the Confucius Institute from both Belarusian and Chinese sides, Alexander Rogachev and Ji Yimin, participated in the opening ceremony. In their speeches, they emphasized that this vibrant and prominent space, furnished with comfortable seating, will not only serve as a place for students to relax and engage in self-study but will also feature an informative display designed to attract young people to the study of the Chinese language and culture. The significance of this event was further underscored, as it coincides with the notable anniversary of the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the People's Republic of China.
