In the conference hall of the Francisk Skaryna Gomel State University, a meeting of representatives of the university administration with students took place.
In particular, the rector of the university, Sergey Khakhomov, focused on many issues, including refurbishing classrooms, replacing furniture and equipment, improving the position of the university in the international rankings, and also announced the continuation of the construction of a tennis court and a basketball court with artificial turf.
Last time, representatives of the university's women's volleyball team expressed a wish to purchase a uniform sports uniform with GSU symbols for participation in competitions among universities. Sergei Anatolyevich noted that this issue has already been resolved.
The youth took an active part in the dialogue. The questions concerned the expansion of the range of dishes at the catering points of the university, free access to the gym and fitness, prospects for students who graduated from the Confucius Institute, and others.
Representatives of the administration answered all the questions, and some took them into service in order to make life and learning conditions as comfortable as possible for students.
