On October 18, 2018 the Faculty of economics hosted VII International research and practical conference “Relevant issues of economic development: theory and practice in current environment” – the readings in remembrance of the famous Russian and Belarusian economist Mikhail Nauchitel. The first conference was held in Gomel in 2008 and over the last ten years engaged the representatives from Belarus, China, Nigeria, Poland, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine.
123 participants were registered for participation in the conference – the scholars from the leading universities and research and development centers from the neighboring countries and beyond:
- China – East China Normal University (ECNU)
- Russia Higher School of Economics, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Sochi State University, Southwest State University, Kursk Academy of State and Municipal Service,
- Ukraine Kiev National Economic University named after Vadim Getman, Kharkiv National Economic University, Chernihiv National Technological University, Lviv educational and scientific institute "University of Banking", Poltava Institute of Economics and Law,
- Belarus Belarusian State University, Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian-Russian University and others.
