On November 12, Global Entrepreneurship Week 2018 officially started in Minsk. This is an annual global event bringing together about 170 countries. In Belarus, GEW has been held since 2011 under the auspices of the Belbiz Business Communications Center with the financial support of American and European organizations. The week was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Rumas, and the heads of the western diplomatic missions. The Prime Minister noted that in recent years, the number of GEW participants in general has been increasing and young people in particular.
The format of the forum suggested the possibility of establishing mutually beneficial relations of business representatives, the exchange of experience and the launch of new projects. Thus, on the very first day of the exhibition, the best students of the economic faculty of the university of various specialties visited this event, accompanied by Olga Arashkevich, associate professor of the department of economics and management, Ekaterina Yarosh, senior lecturer of the department of finance and credit, and Sergei Azyavchikov, chairman of the trade union committee of students.
