Cooperation between universities and scientific and research organizations of the Union state of Russia and Belarus, participation in international programs and grants, interrelation in the field of information technologies, development of academic mobility – these issues were discussed during the meeting of the acting leader of the Agency of Rossotrudnichestvo Andrey Klintsevich and Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Sergei Khakhomov.
Andrei Klintsevich visited GSU on July 24, 2019 in the course of his visit to Gomel. According to Andrei Klintsevich, plans and challenges for cooperation between higher education institutions of Russia and Belarus are to be discussed today, at the starting point of work of the Association of Universities of the Union state. Moreover, agreements between educational institutions of both countries should not only be concluded, but also filled with life and current projects that would be beneficial for both parties.
By the example of GSU such work will involve active cooperation with the leading universities of the Russian Federation.
In view of this students and young researchers from Gomel will get an opportunity to apply for grants aiming at realization of their scientific ideas and startups, participation in youth forums and other educational events, development of volunteering and students sports tourism.
