The 1st Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan was held in Minsk. Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University participated in the Forum as one of the members of Belarusian delegation.
Cooperation in the field of human sciences, information and communications and science was one of the topics of the meeting. Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed within the frames of the plenary meeting with the involvement of representatives of the regions, Ministries and foreign offices. It was planned to sign about 15 trans-regional cooperation agreements and a number of commercial contracts.
