From October 3 to 4, Sergei Khakhomov, Rector of the Unibersity takes part in the II Forum of the regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Zhytomyr. On October 3, bilateral meetings of Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University were held with the leaders of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. During the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed with these Universities.
These agreements provide for the development and implementation of joint research and creative projects, joint participation in international educational, scientific and other projects and programs, the exchange of teachers and master’s degree students for short and long-term scientific internships, the intensification of academic mobility for students, the publication of joint monographs, textbooks, collections of scientific papers and other teaching materials.
The round table discussion “Preserving the linguistic, cultural and natural environment of transboundary territories: history and modernity” was held as a part of the II Forum of Regions of Ukraine and Belarus and was attended by professor of the Department of Russian, General and Slavic Linguistics Vladimir Koval.
