An award ceremony was held for the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Belarus on July 10. Students and schoolchildren studying Chinese became its laureates. Among 42 Sinologists, the award was given to the 2020 graduate of the Faculty of Philology Violetta Beloded. The prize was awarded to Violetta's successful performance at the III Belarusian Republican Student Olympiad in the Chinese language, which was held in March 2020. This award has been awarded annually since 2018 for significant achievements in the study of the Chinese language. We congratulate Violetta on the award and wish her further success.
