Olga Silkina from Gomel won the gold medal in the modern pentathlon competition at the World Championships, which was held from September 2 to 8 in Budapest (Hungary). Olga, gained 1,368 points in the individual championship and received a personal license for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2020, Olga Vladimirovna Silkina, a graduate of our university, an athlete-instructor of the national team of the Republic of Belarus in modern pentathlon, a senior instructor in physical culture and sports of the sports team of the border service of the Republic of Belarus, was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports. We congratulate Olga and wish her health, prosperity and new achievements!
