A meeting of the August teachers' council was held in Rechitsa, which was attended by more than 700 employees of the educational sector of the Gomel region, as well as the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko. The participants discussed the results of work and achievements for the reporting period, as well as identified the tasks for the 2020/2021 academic year. In addition, the chairman of the Gomel regional executive committee Gennady Solovey, in his address to the audience, noted that in the new academic year the teachers face a number of difficult and very important tasks. The meeting also discussed the prospects for the construction and reconstruction of educational institutions and improving the material and technical base.
