The Alliance Student Research Laboratory has been operating at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of the F. Skorina State University for about 20 years. Twice the association received a grant from the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted pupils and students, which allowed to increase its material and technical base. During the work, the participants of the laboratory are engaged in research, volunteer, educational, professional and practical activities. Throughout its existence, the laboratory is developing such areas as "Personal and procedural-technological foundations of professional attitude of university students", "Socio-psychological factors that determine the psychological well-being of adolescents", "Problems of psychological health of modern youth." The topic of psychological and pedagogical support of a person in the modern educational environment is currently being studied.
The participants of the laboratory "Alliance" of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy, headed by the head of the Department of Social and Pedagogical Psychology Tatiana Shatsyuk, became the winners of the competition for the best student research laboratory at GSU.
The student laboratory is especially proud of its participation in international, national, inter-university and intra-university scientific-practical conferences, seminars and competitions. The young people publish the results of their research in various collections of scientific works of students, undergraduates and graduate students. Among these publications there are both those published at GSU ("Creativity of Youth", "Days of Student Science", "Vectors of Psychology") and those published at other universities in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Last year alone, the participants of the student laboratory published two articles in publications, that are included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of Belarus, and 183 scientific papers, which include 84 scientific articles and 99 materials of scientific conferences.
The Alliance members received 96 diplomas at various scientific competitions in Belarus and Russia. For example, Daria Sinila and Alina Baradulina participated in a joint project of Belarus, Russia and Latvia to study the professional identity of teachers of schools and universities. Anastasia Kutsapalova and Daria Starostenko studied peculiarities of the experience of the car accident by drivers and heterostereotypes of perception of women leaders on the basis of the traffic police and "Gomelablautatrans". Darina Sapyraeva conducted extensive research and correctional and developmental work with adolescents on selfie addiction. Yauhen Sharnikov and Irina Hiaare studied alexithymia among IT specialists. All this is just a small part of the research carried out by the laboratory participants.
Every year, students of higher educational institutions of Belarus submit their theses, master's and term papers to the national competition of scientific works. Traditionally, they are highly appreciated by the Commission. According to the results of the XXIV Republican contest of scientific works of students, Rosalina Abyshova, a graduate of the master's degree program, was awarded the high title of laureate.
Rosalina's victory is a natural result of her scientific activity, in which there was a place not only for participation in various competitions, but also for 20 scientific papers. Now the girl has passed a multi-stage competitive selection among more than a thousand applicants to work in an international consulting company.
Traditionally, in addition to scientific activities, teachers and students of the Department are engaged in volunteering. They develop more than 20 projects, such as "Psychological Workshop", "I Am Now A Student", "Adaptation of Foreign Students", "Dad can", "Safe childhood", "For A Healthy Lifestyle", "Socio-Psychological Resocialization of War Veterans, Labor And Disabled People Using Retrotherapy" and others.
The laboratory has a psychological club and a young family club, as well as an active student integrative psychological theater "MOON". By the way, the main idea of psychological theater is to invite the audience to a dialogue with themselves, to a reflexive deepening into their own inner world, into the depths of their soul. This is an effective means of psychological work with people of different age, social and professional groups. In each performance, one main problem of social or personal development is raised. The production is shown to a small audience. After the main action, the actors go out to the audience and discuss what they saw, inviting those present to a dialogue with questions addressed to the feelings and experience of the participants in the process.
Scientific support of social and psychological-educational projects of the laboratory ensured multiple victories in various competitions organized by the Ministry of Education, Gomel regional and city executive committees, various educational institutions of Belarus and abroad. Anastasia Tikhinya and Alexander Davydov have the largest number of diplomas. Also, members of the "Alliance" regularly participate in competitions in psychology and pedagogy, have diplomas of winners and prizewinners.
