GSU named after F. Skorina was visited by the Professor of the Institute of General and experimental biology of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia Chimeny Dorjsuren.
At the meeting with the Vice-rector for scientific work Oleg Demidenko, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Belarusian and Mongolian scientists.
In particular, it was about joint projects in the field of forestry – the creation of drugs for the root systems of woody plants and technology for obtaining seeds of tree species.
According to the guest, the successful cooperation of researchers of the Gomel University and the research Institute of Ulaanbaatar, which has been going on for more than four years, is bearing fruit in the form of significant innovative developments:
— This is an example of mutually beneficial cooperation. The results of the joint work are being actively introduced into the practice of forestry, contributing to the development of the forestry sectors of both countries.
