IV International Conference “Information Technologies and Communication Technologies. Modern Achievements ", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the foundation of ASTU, takes place at the Astrakhan State Technical University (Astrakhan, Russia) from 5 to 8 October. The conference works in the following areas:
∙ scientific instrument making;
∙ design and modeling of telecommunication systems and information security;
∙ information and infocommunication technologies in industry, economics and automation of technological processes.
Within the framework of the conference, schools of young scientists are held in the following areas:
∙ information technology and information security;
∙ scientific instrument making and modeling of infocommunication systems and networks of the fifth generation.
The conference was attended by teachers of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies: Rector of GSU, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Sergei Khakhomov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Igor Semchenko, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Andrey Samofalov, senior lecturer Maxim Podalov. Scientists presented an online report "Metamaterials and metasurfaces as the basis of multifunctional devices for microwave and THz range"
