On October 8, the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture of F. Skorina Gomel State University was organized and held an international scientific and practical conference "Physical culture, sport and health in modern society" with the Voronezh State Institute of Physical Culture (Voronezh, Russia). The online conference was opened by the vice-rector for research activities of VSIPC - Olga Nikolaevna Savinkova. Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Evgeny Vladislavovich Osipenko voiced welcoming words from the Faculty of Physical Education of our university. He noted the relevance of the topic of the conference, as well as the possibility of high-quality interaction for the exchange of experience by the participants of an international scientific event using modern communication and information means; wished the teaching staff, graduate students and undergraduates, students effective and fruitful work, good health and success in international cooperation.

Sci., Associate Professor (VSIPC, Russia)) - "The relationship of conscious and unconscious mechanisms of will in sports training", Elena Vostroilova (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor (VSIPC, Russia)) - "Design principles in the field of physical culture", Ivan Bityutskikh (Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Training (Voronezh Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia)) - "The use of modern means of urgent information to control the competitive loads of kickboxers discipline K1", Konstantin Simonov (Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor (VSIPC, Russia)) - "The development of basketball in Israel in the first half of the 1950s.", Alla Yezhova (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor (VSIPC, Russia)) - "Conducting sectional football lessons with high school students in a comprehensive school." The conference participants had the opportunity to exchange views in live communication, discuss the prospects for close cooperation, preparation of joint research projects and the organization of summer schools in physical culture and health tourism.
