The jubilee X International Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Romano-Germanic Philology and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages" was held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages on October 23. The conference brought together scientists conducting scientific and practical research in the areas of discourse analysis, comparative linguistics, linguistics and text stylistics, pragmatics, methods of teaching foreign languages, etc. This year scientists from different continents (America, Africa, Eurasia) arrived to the conference. Scientists from Belarus, Russia, USA, Serbia, Kazakhstanpresented their reports. These scientists are long-term and reliable partners of our faculty, our close cooperation has resulted in numerous projects, no doubt, there will be new projects implemented in the nearest future. Of particular interest were the speeches devoted to the exchange of experience in the field of using information and communication technologies in the educational process.: GLOBAL EDUCATION: LEARNING WITH THE WORLD, EXPLORING MOOC FACILITATED SESSIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL TEACHERS, A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MONOLINGUALS AND MULTILINGUALS IN THE EFL CONTEXT, DEVELOPMENT OF XXI CENTURY SKILLS THROUGH DIGITAL STORITELLING, ONLINE KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS IN THE MODERN HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM, ESTABLISHING RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY OF AN INSTRUMENT TO MEASURE DIGITAL LITERACY PRACTICES AND PERCEPTIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION.
In the course of scientific dialogue, it was decided that these topics will form the basis for the organization and conduct of joint international seminars in order to exchange the accumulated experience.
