In summing up the past year in Nanjing University of science and technology the title of "man of the year 2020" was awarded Director of the scientific-research physicochemical Institute, GSU named after F. Skorina, corresponding member of NAS of Belarus, honored worker of science of the Republic of Belarus, doctor of chemistry, Professor Alexander Rogachev.
Professor A.V. Rogachev has been cooperating with the Chinese university for more than 20 years. Under his leadership, graduates of Nanjing University defended their dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, carried out joint Belarusian-Chinese research projects in the field of nanotechnology, contracts for the supply of innovative equipment.
Since 2012, Alexander Vladimirovich has been leading the work of the joint international Chinese-Belarusian scientific laboratory for vacuum-plasma technologies, and since 2017, he has been the head of the Confucius Institute at the State University named after F. A. Yushchenko. Skoriny.
In early 2020, Alexander Vladimirovich was invited to a scientific meeting with foreign experts in the field of science and technology, which was attended by Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang. In the summer, as part of the Nanjing High-Tech Week, A.V. Rogachev, together with 15 foreign experts, received the Jinling Friendship Award. And at the end of the year, the researcher was awarded the high title of "Honorary Citizen of Jiangsu Province (China)".
