The Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education of F. Skorina Gomel State University took part in the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Problems and Prospects for the Development of Physical Education, Health and Professional Training of Future Specialists in Physical Education and Sports" organized by the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Dragomanova (Kiev, Ukraine) on March 18-19.
This scientific event was opened by the rector of the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, First Vice-President of the Union of Rectors of State Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine - Viktor Andrushchenko.
Yevgeny Osipenko, the Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, Ph. D., Associate Professor, voiced welcoming words from our university to the participants of the symposium andpresented his scientific report "Digitalization in the field of physical culture and sports".
The speakers of the plenary session were also: Alexander Kaspirovich, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education of the BSPU named after Maxim Tank (Minsk, Republic of Belarus), Ph.D. n. - “Chess education in Belarus”, Aleksey Timoshenko, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Health of the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University (Kiev, Ukraine), Doctor of Pedagogy Sci., professor - "Methodology for determining the individual norm of motor activity of young people in the process of physical education", Marta Stepen-Slodkowska, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Health of the University of Szczecin (Szczecin, Poland), Doctor of Pedagogy. Sci., Professor - "Cooperation in the field of educational, methodological, scientific and experimental activities and academic mobility of students", Tatiana Marynich, Dean of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of Polesie State University (Pinsk, Republic of Belarus) - "Dynamics of body composition indicators in the individualization of health-improving aerobics methodology".
The conference discussed topical issues of physical education, sports training, wellness and adaptive physical culture.
