On September 23, a working meeting of the delegations of our university and Heze University (China) took place in an online format. In the format of a video message, the rector of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Sergei Khakhomov. In his speech, he noted: "The University is proud of its long-term, friendly and partnership relations with educational and scientific institutions of the People's Republic of China. For many years of strategic partnership, hundreds of Chinese citizens have received bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees from our university. In the academic year 2021 alone, more than 250 students from China successfully defended their master's theses at various faculties of the university."
The meeting discussed the preparation of a joint educational program for bachelors in the specialty "Physics". Already in the next academic year, Chinese applicants will be able to take part in the program, which provides for 3 years of study in China and 1 year in Belarus. Graduates of the joint program will receive Belarusian and Chinese diplomas of higher education. During the previous academic year, partner universities carried out work on synchronizing curricula and preparing a package of documents for the organization of joint training.
