From October 15 to 16, the Judo Championship of the Republic of Belarus was held on the basis of the sports complex "Staiki". 140 athletes from all regions of the country and the city of Minsk took part in the tournament.
On the first day of the competition, the winners in the individual competition were students of the Faculty of Physical Training: Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus Uljana Minenkova (weight category of 57kg.), master of Sports Polina Slesarenko (weight category of 63kg.), Alexandra Konovalova (weight category of 48kg.) and Master of the Faculty of Physical Training Egor Trukhan (weight category of 73kg.). On the second day, team competitions were held, in which the team of the Gomel region took third place.
