On November 18, the Faculty of Mathematics and Programming Technologies hosted a webinar "Web development. General concepts, technologies and directions" for 2nd year students. The webinar was conducted by the representative of the leading IT company of the Gomel region "IBA Gomel Development Center" - the head of the sector of the Internet technologies department Jurij Spektor.
Yuri Spector told the students in detail about modern web technologies, trends in their development in the world. The issues related to DBMS, often used in web development, were covered in detail. The speaker spoke in detail about many modern IT technologies and programming languages used for web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, etc.).
The representative of the IT company was the manager of personnel development Kirill Zhestjanikov told the students about the work in the company "IBA Gomel Development Center", about the possibility of internships for students of IT specialties in the company.
Students took an active part in the webinar, asked the speakers questions related to both modern web technologies and possible employment in the company.
