November 19, Faculty of Physical Training of the F. Skorina Gomel State University co-organized the XX Anniversary international scientific and practical conference "Improving the system of physical education, sports training, tourism, psychological support and rehabilitation of various categories of the population" (Surgut, Russia).
The conference was opened by the Rector of Surgut State University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sergei Kosenok, Vice-Rector for Science and Technology of the Surgut State University, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Roman Ostwald.
The moderator of this conference was Natalia Peshkova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Surgut State University.

- “Scientific and methodological support of athletes' training using an information database (based on the experience of the Tchaikovsky State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports)” - Vladimir Zebzeev, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Chaykovsky State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports (Chaykovsky, Russia);
– “Higher units of movement formation as the goal of a psychologically qualified training process” - Vadim Khoziev, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology, Dubna University (Dubna, Russia).
From the Faculty of Physical Training of the F. Skorina Gomel State University. The head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Training, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Evgenij Osipenko made a welcoming speech to the organizing committee and participants, as well as a scientific report ("Some approaches to the modernization of school physical education").
It is worth noting that master classes were organized within the framework of this conference: "Stress tamer: smile and wave!" E.V. Bokova, senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology of Surgut State University; "Features of the use of kinesitherapy (therapeutic gymnastics) in the early recovery period of stroke, TBI with hemi-disorders of motor functions", Candidate of Biological Sciences, Head. Department of physical rehabilitation of LLC "Medicine and rehabilitation" O.A Koshevoj; "The use of the David back concept hardware and software complex in the study of static-dynamic muscle strength and spinal mobility in the training process and rehabilitation of athletes of game sports", Candidate of Biological Sciences, Head of the Department. the Department of physical rehabilitation of LLC "Medicine and Rehabilitation" O.A Koshevoj; organized a round table on the topic: "Modern problems and ways to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of elective courses in physical culture and sports at the university" (moderator, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences N.V. The conference was actively attended by employees of the Faculty of Physical Culture, undergraduates and postgraduates. In addition, the issues of organizing and conducting joint research during the pandemic were discussed.
