On November 25, the tenth meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Serbian Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation took place in the format of a videoconference. The Chairmen were the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia Marijana Dukich-Mijatovich and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Shherbakov.
The meeting was attended by members of the Belarusian and Serbian parts of the Joint Belarusian-Serbian Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation, invited heads of scientific organizations of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Belarus.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor O.M. Demidenko represented the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University at the meeting.
The current state and prospects for the development of science, technology and innovation in the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Serbia, the actualization of priority areas of scientific and technical cooperation, the progress of joint scientific and technical projects for 2020 - 2021 – these and many other issues on the agenda were discussed at the meeting. During the event, the draft Executive Program of scientific, technical and innovative cooperation for 2022-2023 was also considered.
