From December 2 to 5, the III Kyokushin Karate European Championship among men and women in weight categories was held at the Palace of Culture and Sports of Varna (Bulgaria).
Representatives of 19 countries of the world took part in the tournament organized by the World Kyokushin Union and the Bulgarian Kyokushin Karate Federation.
A second-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture of our University, Alexandra Koncevenko, who recently became a bronze medalist of the Kyokushin Karate World Cup, worthily represented the Republic of Belarus on the European sports arena and won a bronze medal (weight category of 55 kg).
We congratulate Alexandra, wish her bright victories on the tatami and new achievements in life!
