On December 16-17, Faculty of Physical Training of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University took part in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference of young scientists, postgraduates, undergraduates, applicants and students "Problems of improving physical culture, sports and Olympism" (Omsk, Russia).
Welcoming words addressed to the organizers and participants of the conference were delivered by Dmitrij Krikorjancev, Minister of Youth Affairs of Physical Culture and Sports of the Omsk Region, Oleg Shalaev, Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports", Konstantin Melnikov, Director of the Department of Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of Omsk.
The moderator of this conference was Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Natalia Kolmogorova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Pedagogy Irina Ivko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Council of Young Scientists and SpecialistsAnton Tabakov.
The following scientific reports were announced at the plenary session:
Aizhan Musralinova (postgraduate student of Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Omsk) – "Development of motor and cognitive abilities of children with general behavior disorders and mental disorders in physical education and recreation classes";
Anna Kuksina (student of Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Omsk) - "Artistic swimming at the Olympic Games in Tokyo";
Palchikova Polina (Master's student of Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Omsk) - "Dance sport: synthesis of art and sport";
Margarita Voronova (postgraduate student of Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Omsk) – "Psychophysiological characteristics of highly qualified powerlifters".
From the Faculty of Physical Training of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Vitalij Usovich, a graduate student of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture, delivered a welcoming speech to the organizing committee and participants, as well as a scientific report ("On some aspects of the activities of sports veterans of the Gomel region"). His supervisor is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Gennadij Narskin.
The conference was actively attended by leading employees of the Faculty of Physical Training, undergraduates and postgraduates. In addition, the issues of organizing and conducting joint lectures and practical classes using software tools were discussed.
