The Faculty of Philology awarded diplomas to 10 graduates of the specialty “Russian Philology (Computer Support)” from the People's Republic of China. This is the third graduation of students in a joint educational program.
In accordance with the Agreement on Joint training of specialists between the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the Shanghai Professional Institute of Industry, Commerce and Foreign Languages, students study for 2.5 years in China and 2 years in Belarus. After successfully mastering educational programs, passing the state exam and defending their theses, graduates receive an international diploma of higher education of the first stage and the assignment of the qualification “Philologist. Teacher of Russian language and literature. Specialist in computer philology”. Many children stay in Gomel to continue their master's degree studies.
