In the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University on March 16, the republican scientific and methodological conference “Topical issues of scientific and methodological and educational and organizational work: the modern system of general secondary and higher education as a historical factor of unity and sustainable development of society” began its work.
- The conference is held at our university every two years. This year it acquired the status of an international one, bringing together 160 representatives from educational institutions of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan. The most active participants of the conference are the staff of our university: 128 teachers will make presentations on the designated topics. The participants of the event will highlight various aspects designed to improve the quality of education, voice scientific ideas and prospects for their development, exchange experience in scientific and practical developments, - said the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University Igor Semchenko.
Within two days, about 150 reports will be announced online in seven breakout sessions. In addition to the plenary and breakout sessions, an international seminar “Higher Education and Synergetics” will be held, which will be attended by more than 20 teachers from universities in Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
