The Olympiads among foreign students and Belarusian students of the preparatory department are being held for the second day at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. During the intellectual competitions in the Russian language, the participants tested their knowledge of grammar and listening.
Traditionally, the linguistic Olympiad opens the festival of international friendship. This time it was attended by about 30 students from four universities: Gomel State Medical University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperation, as well as students from different faculties of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
— The Olympiad in the Russian language is traditionally held in the walls of GSU for the eighth time. This is an important day for both teachers and students. Many study in Russian, get a profession, a diploma. I hope that you will find new friends, discover a new country, culture,” Natalia Sivakova, associate Professor of the Department of Pre-University Training, said to the participants.
Dmitry Khodanovich, Director of the Institute of Additional Training, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, addressed the 1st and 2nd year students with greetings and wishes of success.
According to the results of the first day of Inter-GSU in the Russian Language Olympiad, the results have already been summed up for the students of the software. The victory was won by the Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperation.
