On May 31, our university hosted the closing ceremony and awarding of the winners of the X International Olympiad of Students and the VIII Olympiad of Students on the basics of pedagogy and psychology “Personality and Security”. The Olympiad consisted of three stages – theoretical, creative and practical. Intellectual wrestling took place from April 3 to May 17 in a remote format.
Both Olympiads were held jointly with the Main Department of Education of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, the editorial office of the network resource of the publishing house “Pedagogical Press” with the support of permanent partners – the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Gomel, LLC “Belaya Rus”.
More than 450 people from 85 teams took part in the Olympiads.
43 teams of students from institutions of general secondary, vocational and secondary special education represented all regions and Minsk. The teams were divided into groups depending on the level of education.
42 teams of Belarusian higher education institutions represented Minsk, Brest, Mogilev, Baranovichi, Polotsk, Gorki, Mozyr and Gomel. The Russian Federation was represented by teams from Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and its branch from Yelabuga, Lobachevsky National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University and its branch from Arzamas, as well as Kuban, Kurgan, Nizhnevartovsk, Pskov, Tambov State University, Derzhavin Tambov State University, Tolyatti and Ugra State Universities.
All university teams were divided into 3 profiles: “psychological”, “pedagogical”, “non-psychological-pedagogical” and performed the corresponding task.
According to the results of all stages , among the specialties of the psychological profile , the 1st place was taken by the team of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, the 2nd degree diplomas were awarded to the teams of the Belarusian State University, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Polotsk State University, Pskov State University; the 3rd place was taken by the team of Derzhavin Tambov State University.
Among the specialties of the pedagogical profile, the highest step of the pedestal was taken by a team of future social educators from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, the second place was shared by Arzamas branch of Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky, Derzhavin Tver State University. The third place was shared by the teams of Baranovichi State University, Kuban State University, I.P. Shamyakin Mozyr State Pedagogical University, Togliatti State University.
Among the teams representing non-psychological and pedagogical specialties, the first place was taken by Brest State Technical University, the second place was shared by Belarusian State Order of the October Revolution and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Academy, Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian State University of Transport. The third place was taken by the teams of GSU.
Among the teams of students, the 1st place was taken by the teams of GUO Secondary school 12 of Gomel, Secondary School No. 9 of Svetlogorsk, Rechitsky State Pedagogical College”. The second place was shared by the teams of Gymnasium No. 10 of Gomel, Gymnasium No. 14 of Gomel. The third place was taken by the teams of Secondary school No. 22, Gomel City Lyceum No. 1 of Gomel, Gymnasium of Svetlogorsk, Secondary School No. 3 of Svetlogorsk, Gymnasium of Petrikov.
