Among the Belarusian institutions of higher education, nine universities of the country are already included in the rating, including Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. Francisk Skorina Gomel State University has taken a firm position in the top five universities of Belarus.
The published list of the global ranking “Three University Missions” in 2022 for the first time includes 1,800 universities from 103 countries – a year earlier, 1,650 positions from 97 countries were ranked in the ranking. “The expansion was made possible by increasing the information transparency of universities and increasing the competitiveness of many participants, mainly from the BRICS countries,” said Dmitry Grishankov, Director General of the Association of Rating Compilers, While the length of the list is close to a reasonable maximum limit for a global academic ranking: low indicators of universities outside the top 1 800 do not allow us to consider such universities are global players.”
Universities in the ranking are ranked by the quality of education, the level of scientific work, as well as by their contribution to society. Only objective criteria based on official data, as well as data from reputable international information providers, are used for compilation.
