Students of the youth wing of the Belarusian Women's Union of the State University named after F. Skorina met the train with children from the Kherson region, who were returning to the Kherson region after recovery.
Children whose families were evacuated from the war zone underwent recovery and rehabilitation for two weeks at the Lesnaya Polyana sanatorium in the Grodno region of the Republic of Belarus.
Since 2021, a project to improve the health of Donbass children in Belarus has been implemented by the Alexey Talay Foundation. Gomel activists - regional organizations of the Belarusian Women's Union, led by the head of the regional executive committee, Elena Klichkovskaya, and the Belarusian Red Cross, led by Senator Alla Smolyak - decided to please the boys and girls with gifts and attention.
In memory of the Republic of Belarus, the children from the Kherson region were presented with memorable gifts and the necessary things. According to our girls, this event is truly an important and noble cause, which left a deep impression and a sense of pride that they live in such a peaceful and hospitable country - Belarus.
