A meeting with foreign students was held at the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University where representatives from the Citizenship and Migration Departments of the Central and Zheleznodorozhny districts of Gomel Julia Kirillova and Natalia Avchinnikova, as well as Oleg Sinyakov from the Gomel Border Group were present.
In attendance were also Dmitry Khodanovich, the Vice-Rector for educational work and Alexander Grahotsky, the head of the International Affairs Office. The event clarified the rules for obtaining residence permits and permissions for temporary residence, as well as the responsibilities for violating migration legislation. Discussions on crime prevention were also held. During the meeting students were able to receive competent answers to their questions regarding employment in the Republic of Belarus and invitation-letters for new academic year applicants.
