From October 15 to 18, 2024, at the invitation of the International Alliance for Promoting the Integration of Industry and Education, the Platform for Comprehensive Services for the Integration of Production and Education of Shandong Province (China), First Vice-Rector Andrey Kruk and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Elena Sazhina participated in the 6th Forum of Local Leaders of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), which took place in Yantai (Shandong Province). The conference was organized jointly with the People's Government of Shandong Province, the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and CEEC, and the Association of Governors of Provinces and States of China and CEEC.
During the conference, Andrey Viktorovich and Elena Vladimirovna took part in the "Dialogue on Cooperation for the Integration of Industry and Education between China and CEEC." In meetings with Chinese and Eastern European partners, they discussed opportunities for joint projects, academic mobility for teachers and students, the education of Chinese students in Belarus, and explored the experience of integrating industry and education based on examples from Chinese universities.
While visiting Shandong University of Technology, Shandong Medical College, and Yantai Vocational and Technical College, they were able to familiarize themselves with the experience of their colleagues in organizing the educational process at universities and colleges, their interaction with regional enterprises, the organization of internships, and the employment of graduates. Participation in the events within the framework of the forum allowed for the establishment of contacts with the leadership of the International Alliance for Promoting the Integration of Industry and Education, the Platform for Comprehensive Services for the Integration of Production and Education of Shandong Province (China), universities and colleges in China, and reached agreements on further cooperation.
