On November 29 – 30, 2018 the Faculty of geology and geography hosted the 4th International scientific and practical conference of students, PhD students and young researchers “Relevant issues of Earth sciences within the concept of steady development of Belarus and the neighboring countries”.
167 research works from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Poland were submitted for participation. 53 participants represented results of their work at the plenary and section meetings.
The second day of the conference was devoted to the tour across the route “Neftyanoy” in Rechitsa region. The participants gained familiarity with the building process of new oil and gas wells, processes of oil treatment and dehydration and desalinization at the oil production facilities and a museum of history.
