Belarusian and Chinese cooperation was discussed at the meeting of the leader of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the delegation from China on July 26, 2019. Visit of the delegation was organized within the frames of the international scientific and technical conference “Polymer composites and tribology” held at the Institute of mechanics of metal-polymer systems named after V.A. Belyy”.
Current problems of the forum cover various fields of physics and chemistry, technology of development and application of polymer composites, nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, issues of the theory of friction and abrasion of solid bodies, etc. Research work in these fields is held at the Faculty of physics and information technologies of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. For this reason the visit of the delegation from China was devoted to the experience of research work, scientific and technical base of the University and possible areas of common interest in science.
Our university has been maintaining close contacts with Chinese partners in science, education and culture for more than 20 years. The university has a lot of joint projects with China, some technologies and developments are effectively being introduced into the industrial production of both countries.
