Delegation of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University headed by Rector Sergei Khakhomov took part in a scientific seminar within the frames of implementation of an international agreement with the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research “Fundamental research and design of highly sensitive optical sensors based on multilayer microstructures of metamaterials”, held at Jiannan University (Wuxi, China). During the seminar results of the joint research on this project were presented, as well as the achievements of scientists from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University in the field of science and education. Intermediate results were summed up and a report was presented on the implementation of an international agreement with the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research “Creating low-reflecting thin absorbing metasurfaces for reduction of reflection from complex metal / metallized objects in the microwave range” (jointly with Jiangnan University).
