The third regional stage of the Republican Physics Olympiad 2019 was held on January 8 – 11, 2019 at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The competition period was full of creative work on solving the tasks composed by the physicists from Minsk under the instruction of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus.
Pupils of 9 – 11th forms solved theoretical problems and experimental tasks, developed algorithms of actions and construct test installations, had to establish and / or verify experimentally the form of one or another dependence, to find on the basis of measurements parameters of the proposed system for research, process the measurement results.
According to the results of the Republican Physics Olympiad – 2018, a graduate of Gomel lyceum #1 N. Zunikov was a member of the team representing our country at the International Physics Olympiad in Portugal.
Lecturers of the Faculty of physics and information technologies contributed to training of the pupils and the team of the region participating in the Olympiad, preparation of the tasks for the contest and operation of the juri.
