An international seminar and a scientific and practical conference “Rights and obligations of participants in the educational process. Innovative approaches” within the framework of the international project EduLAW“ was held at GSU on September 12 – 13 within the frames of an international project EduLAW “The development of legal education modules for pedagogical areas of training as a contribution to the formation of an education system based on the protection of the rights of participants in the educational process” (ERASMUS + program).
At our university, the project is being implemented by the faculties of psychology and pedagogy and law. The international consortium includes universities of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Albania, Belgium, Poland and Lithuania. The project has been implemented since 2016. This year is the final year for the consortium.
Representatives of various educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation (including the Mari State University (Yoshkar-Ola), Moscow City Pedagogical University (Moscow) and Belgium (Free University of Brussels, Brussels). The first vice-rector of GSU Andrei Kruk and project coordinator Gracienne Lauwers (Free University of Brussels) addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech.
The program of the scientific event was extremely eventful. During the plenary meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of psychology and pedagogy Vladislav Beizerov and the Head of the International affairs department Alexander Grahotsky (Francisk Skorina Gomel State University), Veronika Radygina and Olga Klezovich (BSPU), Veronika Toktarova and Ekaterina Fliginskyh (Mari State University), Vitaly Matveev (Moscow State Pedagogical University) shared their best practicies.
