On October 3-5, the delegation of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University participated in the International Scientific and Pedagogical Forum “Digital Transformation in Ethno-cultural Education: Challenges of the Present” (Yoshkar-Ola). The forum was held at Mari State University. The forum gathered more than 100 participants from 20 cities of Russia and 4 countries: Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Moldova and Belarus. GSU representatives took part in the grand opening and the plenary session of the international scientific and pedagogical forum, where the reports of the Vice-Rector of MarSU and the main speakers of the forum were presented, and took an active part in the meeting of the section on ethnopsychology “Ethnopsychology: challenges of the digital society”.
The meeting was devoted to discussion of reports on contemporary problems of psychology in the digital era. GSU representatives also took part in the scientific seminar “Brand of a Modern Scientist”, where modern means of scientific communication (ORCID, Publons, ResearcherGate, etc.) were studied.
At the meeting of the section “Educational Law: Ethnic Aspect”, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy Vladislav Beizerov presented a report “The legislative basis of responsibility in education and the educational process”. Associate professor of the Department of pedagogy Elena Koshman revealed the socio-pedagogical aspects of ensuring the interests of participants in the educational process within ethnocultural context, and the associate professor of the Department of psychology Vitaly Dvorak focused on the problem of the responsibility of teachers and the administration of a modern school in ethnocultural education. In the section “Ethnic Policy Issues in the Modern World”, the Head of the department of civil law disciplines Natalya Kopytkova opened up issues of migrant integration in the light of the ethnic policy of the Republic of Belarus.
