From February 9 to 12, the Championship of the Republic of Belarus in freestyle wrestling (U-23) took place on the basis of the Polessky State University in Pinsk, which was attended by about 90 of the strongest wrestlers (under 23), representatives of all regions of the country.
It is especially joyful that students of the Faculty of Physical Training of our university, who performed as part of the Gomel region team, made a significant contribution to the team’s shuttle.
The winners in their weight categories were Ivan Gromyko (61 kg), Alexey Parkhomenko (125 kg) and Nadezhda Bulanaja (59 kg).
