As the Rector of GSU Sergei Khakhomov noted, the Eurasian Association of Universities is an authoritative and influential international organization. Participation in the work of the association will allow the university to expand cooperation with leading universities of the Eurasian space and increase the prestige of the university in the international arena.
The Association was established more than 30 years ago, in 1989, and includes 140 leading universities of the CIS countries. The President of the Eurasian Association of Universities is the Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Academician Viktor Sadovnich. In its activities, the association carries out activities aimed at the practical implementation of joint ideas in the field of education and science, the preservation and development of a single educational space and humanitarian cooperation between the CIS countries.
